Japan!

OK - time for another section to this here blog.
I'm in Japan with work!
It's pretty cool actually; because the room has high speed internet, and I've got skype and an ip softphone on the laptop, I can call the uk as if I was there and I can also talk to Sarah and the kids with webcam too.
So - the flight. Very long, but comfortable. I saw a really nice check in lady who put me in an expergency exit seat without me even asking. Result. I told her I was 6 foot 2.5 and 6 foot 4 in my high heels - she said we'll pretend you've got your heels on because it sounds better!
I went to the loo while on the plane and KNEW I was heading for Japan because someone who was obviously bored in there had made a beautiful flying crane origami model out of the toilet roll wrapper!
The landing was very smooth, so no complaints at all about the flight. A couple of cabin crew even taught me some Japanese - Domo Origato (not sure if that's how it's spelled, but it means Thank you very much. Which is nice).
Got the bus to the hotel - 15 quid, not bad as it was over an hour's jounrney.
The hotel is in Shibuya-ku, which turns out the be a pretty fashionable area indeed. Very nice
shops all around and the views from the rooms are spectacular!
Apparently that's the crossroad in Lost in Translation. I've got the DVD in front of me, but I've not seen it yet, so I can't confirm this. It's mental though! Look at the number of people crossing at once.
Looks like I can't upload any more images...I'll have to do another post!
