Brrrrrr!
Well, it looks like the bi-nightly sleeping arrangement is still working. I got the regulation 7.5 hours last night, but woke up chilly. I'm going to get this aircon right on the last day I think.
It seems like 20 degrees is a bit too cold. The way it works is pretty clever though - you insert your room key card into a little slot by the door and that allows the room aircon and lights to come on. So - people can't be lazy and leave everything running while they are out of the room. The downside of this is that you end up with a hot room every time you come back to it.
And my clothes seem suspiciously damp as well, but I think that's a combination of the humidity and me getting confused with temperatures.
The bath is tiny! I'm guessing it's about the length of my torso plus my head. So I can sit in it fine, but not lay down. It's bloody deep though. I'm guessing that as the rooms get cheaper, the floorspace gets smaller until you get to the point where you have a 2 foot by 2 foot bath that's 5 feet deep!
Another nice thing is that they refil the bathroom wotsits box every day and you get razors and combs in there. I'm making a collection of combs for some reason. I wonder what they'd fetch on eBay?
I made a few calls last night over the IP phone. Spoke to Suzy at work after I got an email from here. She would love to come over - I don't think there's any Marketing presence in this office, so I'm sure it could be wangled.
I also had a chat with Sarah and the kids, of course. I get the feeling that Ollie's really missing me. There's a sadness in his voice when we talk that can't be entirely put down to a yearning for the suitcase full of Pokemon toys he knows I have! Never mind - not long to go now.
Philip says we're having Sushi tonight, which should be fun. So long as I can avoid the Wassabi, which I loathe with a vengeance! Atomic horseradish with a touch of mustard, my worst nightmare. It's a shame it's the condiment of choice with Sushi, because apart from the Wassabi, I love it.
Speaking of food - here's the restaurant from last night :

That kind of dilapidated look?
They've chosen to follow that decor through to the inside as well.
That's Philip in the door there; he's getting a card from them in case I want to come back next time I'm here!
No, honestly - they do loyalty cards like Subway!
Looks like the bath's full, so I'm off.
