India ahoy!
So I typed some stuff while on the plane:
So that's a good start: the takeoff was delayed by an hour because bad weather had caused a queue. The pilot's also told us that the flight is 9 hours! I don't know where I got 5 hours from, I suspect it's something to do with the timezone difference. There's only four and a half hours on difference when it comes to timezones, so I don't get why it takes 9 hours to get here.
Am I displaying poor understanding of distance and timezones here?
My collegue in Mumbai has said he won't be meeting me at the airport because it's too hot and wet! Hooray - I've not packed any raingear and it turns out it's monsoon!
Still, Premium Economy is great! I also managed to talk nicely to the lady at check-in and got myself a bulkhead seat - there's not even anyone next to me.
