Just got back from the best meal of the trip, no question.
We went to a really nice area called Santana Row, REALLY high class. The shops were all designer - Louis Vitton etc. Bought some stuff there for someone I can't mention and then we went to The Cheesecake Factory. Amazing!
The portions were MASSIVE, but better than that - the food was lovely.
