Toys R Us!

So I did some hideous hours today - got into the office just after 6am, and left just after 6pm.

Spent the whole time fighting with the phone system, which was nice.

Still, when I finally escaped, I went for a walk...which lasted 3 hours!

I walked basically accross to the Empire state, then down to Macy's. Bought some stuff from my shopping list, then walked up Broadway to Times Square, went into Toys R Us, then walked down 42nd Street to my hotel, stopping on the way to pick up a salad in Pret.

This one's Bryant Park, which is just near the Pret I went in. It's cool - there's an ice rink on it at the moment, and you can see the Empire State Building just behind.

I just had to take this picture - it's the top floor of the Toys R Us in Times Square (so's the one above with the T Rex). I thought Wills would love the Playmobil people hanging off the stars!

...and on that note, I'm off to bed!
